1) Switching on and off.Short press the " power on " key to switch on the machine, self-test will be completed and enter measurement page. Press and hold" power on " key for three seconds to switch off the unit.
2) Backlight.Short press the " plus " key to turn on the backlight, then short press it again to turn it off.
3. Concentration data switching.Short press the "-" key to switch the unit to " percent " or "PPM" display.
4) Ambient/dew point temperature/wet bulb temperature/unit switching.This instrument displays the ambient temperature, the dew point temperature (DEW PIONT) and the wet bulb temperature (WET BULB). Long press the "M" key, then immediately short press "-" to change the temperature. Long press "-" to change the temperature unit.
5) Mode settings.Low alarm setting: Long press the "M" key to enter the low alarm setting page, as shown in figure P1 below. The screen will display "LO" and the value will flash continuously. "Press the " plus " key to increase the value, press the "-" key to decrease the value, the unit is 100 PPM, the adjustable range is 4004000 PPM. After the value has been entered, short press the "M" key to complete the low alarm setting and enter the high alarm setting.High alarm value setting: As shown in figure P2 below. The screen will display "LO" and the value will flash continuously. Operation as above, press the " plus " key to increase the value, press the "-" key to decrease the value, the unit is 100 PPM, the adjustable range is 4004000 PPM. After the value has been entered, short press the "M" key to complete the high alarm setting and enter the data storage interval setting.The data storage interval setting: As shown in figure P3 below. The screen will display "REC" and the value flashes continuously. Operation as above, press the " plus " key to increase the value, press the "-" key to decrease the value, the unit is 1 second, the adjustable range is 560 seconds. After the value has been entered, short press the "M" key to complete the data storage interval setting and enter the date setting.Date setting: As shown in figure P4 below.Firstly, "Year" flashes, press " plus " or "-" to increase or decrease to the current year, then press "M key to confirm, "Month" flashes, proceed as above. When adjustment completed, the date, clock and minutes, press the "M" key again to complete the date setting and return to the measurement screen. The setting mode is finished.Note: When setting, short press the " " key to end the mode setting and save the value (date and time are not saved) and return to the measurement page; when increasing or decreasing the value, long press the " plus " and "-" keys to quickly increase or decrease .
6) Data storage and viewing.The instrument keeps the data stored during measurement and the screen shows "REC". As shown in "P3" above, the storage interval is 60 seconds, the data will be stored every 60 seconds. This interval can be set according to the above description. To view the data, connect the unit to the PC with USB cable, find the removable disk of the unit and click on it to view the data.
7) Clearing storage data.Long press the " plus " key. When the screen flashes "CLr", the stored data is cleared and return to measurement page automatically.
8) Alarm functions.After completing the high and low alarm settings according to step 5. If the monitored concentration does not exceed the low alarm value, the screen will display the " " symbol; if the monitored concentration is between the low and high alarm values, the screen will display " ", "LO " and the green backlight flashes and the buzzer emits an intermittent "drip" sound; if the monitored concentration reaches or exceeds the high alarm value, the " " symbol and the "HI " symbol will be displayed and red backlight flash and the buzzer emits a continuous "drip" sound. In the measurement mode, short press the " power on " key, can switch on or off the alarm functions, as shown in figures P5 and P6 below(P5) Alarm mode off (P6) Alarm mode on9) Switching of concentration measurement values.The unit provides four numerical displays of the concentration values. Press the "M" key briefly in the measurement mode and "HOLD", "MAX" and "MIN" appear on the screen in sequence. When "HOLD" is displayed, it means the current value is locked. When "MAX" is displayed, it means the maximum value for the measurement. When "MIN" is displayed, it means the maximum value for the measurement.
