1. Daily maintenance and upkeep

(1) Moisture resistant optical lenses are prone to mold and mist formation. Machine element are easy to rust after being affected with damp. 1-2 bags of silica gel should be placed inside the microscope box as a desiccant.

(2) Dust on the surface of dustproof optical components not only affects the passage of light, but also generates large stains after being amplified by the optical system, which affects observation. Dust and sand particles falling into the mechanical parts can also increase wear and tear, causing movement obstruction and posing great harm. Pay attention to keeping the microscope clean.

(3) The anti-corrosion microscope cannot be placed together with corrosive chemical reagents. Such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, strong alkali, etc.

(4) Heat proof to avoid Thermal expansion that may cause the lens to open and fall off. Therefore, the biological microscope should be placed in a dry, cool, dust-free, and corrosion-free place. After use, it should be immediately wiped clean and covered with a dustproof breathable cover or placed in a box. When the microscope is idle, cover it with a plastic cover and store it in a dry place to prevent dust and mold. Store the objective lens and eyepiece in a container such as a dryer and protect them from desiccants.

2. Maintenance and upkeep of mechanical systems on sliding parts: Regularly apply some neutral lubricating grease, paint, and clean plastic surfaces: stubborn stains can be cleaned with a soft cleaning agent, and it is recommended to use a silicone cloth. Plastic part: Dip a soft cloth in water to clean it. Attention: Do not use organic solvents (such as alcohol, diluents, etc.). Because it can corrode machinery and paint, causing damage.

3. Maintenance of the optical system Cleaning of the lens After use, gently wipe the eyepiece and objective lens with a clean and soft silk cloth. Just wipe the condenser and reflector clean. If there are stubborn stains, they can be wiped with long fiber Cotton wool or clean fine cotton cloth dipped with a little dimethylbenzene or lens cleaning solution, and then dried with a clean soft silk cloth or a blow dry ball.

Attention: The cleaning solution must not penetrate into the interior of the objective lens, otherwise it may damage the objective lens. Pure alcohol and xylene are prone to combustion, so be particularly careful not to ignite these liquids when turning the power switch on or off. Treatment for mildew and fog of objective lens and eyepiece: prepare 30 percent absolute ethanol plus 70 percent , separate different lenses into desiccant containers, * use Cotton swab, gauze, soft brush and other soft things to wipe the oil lens, and then clean it. Especially for the 100X oil lens, if not handled properly, the front panel can easily get soaked in oil or glue. The eyepiece can be removed and cleaned by oneself. Be careful not to install the 16X eyepiece upside down, as the concave surface of the front plate is on top. Do not remove the objective lens casually. Attention: When wiping the lens, do not use excessive force to prevent damage to the coating layer. Generally, it takes 2 months for centralized maintenance. When there are many microscopes, each lens should be labeled to avoid incorrect matching.

4. Regular inspections are recommended to maintain stable performance.
