1. Vložte 2 1,5VAAA baterie do přihrádky na baterie a zavřete kryt baterie, poté stisknutím tlačítka napájení zapněte nástroj, přístroj zobrazí hodnotu 7.00.

2. Před každým měřením očistěte povrch sondy. Pokud je měřená půda příliš suchá, pokropte ji vodou a před měřením počkejte půl hodiny.

3. Insert the metal rod of the instrument vertically downward into the soil for about 150mm, allowing the wet soil to contact with the metal surface of the probe loosely, never pressing it too hard. The instrument will display the soil PH value. For accurate measurement, wait until the value become stable before taking a reading, and take several area measurements to obtain an average. Press MODE button to switch between displaying soil moisture, temperature and PH. It will display "HI" when the measured PH value is greater than 8.5 and "LO" when the measured value is less than 2.0
